San Antonio, TX – Great news; Fiesta is back this year in San Antonio! Here’s your go-to guide on celebrating Fiesta in 2021, taking place from June 17 – 27.

Fiesta at Hemisfair – June 17
Hemisfair 8434 S. Alamo St, San Antonio, TX
Live music and festivities will be happening at the Hemisfair Park on S. Alamo St.! With family-friendly activities in store, culinary delights at every turn, arts and crafts galore, you and the family will be treated to a Fiesta time! The event lasts from 4 to 10 PM.

Crown the King! Public Crowning of Rey Feo – June 18Main Plaza 115 N. Main Plaza, San Antonio, TX
Thomas Aguillon is set to be crowned San Antonio’s 72nd Rey Feo in this public crowning event. Admission is free, and is fun for the entire family, as the city celebrate the People’s King during the Fiesta season. The event starts at 5:30 PM and ends at 7 PM.

Show Me Your Mask – June 18 
Palo Alto College 1400 W Villaret Blvd, San Antonio, TX
Palo Alto College will be hosting its first-ever Show Me Your Mask celebration in the spirit of Fiesta. Online competitions will be held before the event to see who can create the best Fiesta-themed mask. Finalists will take part in the “Maskarade” part of the celebration. The event is from 5 to 7 PM.

Fiesta Castle Hills – June 19
Castle Hills Commons 209 Lemonwood, San Antonio, TX
This Fiesta, head over to Castle Hills for fun festivities. There will be a 5K Fun Run, vendors and artisans, family-friendly games and activities, and a community parade at Castle Hills. Admission is free and pet-friendly, and the event will be from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Viva Botanica – June 19
San Antonio Botanical Gardens 555 Funston Pl, San Antonio, TX
In the spirit of Fiesta, the San Antonio Botanical Gardens will host its Viva Botanica on June 19 from 10 AM to 2 PM. With 38 acres to explore and fun family-friendly activities to do, the possibilities are endless at Botanical Gardens.

NIOSA (Night In Old San Antonio) – June 22 – 25
La Vilita 418 Villita, San Antonio, TX
La Villita Historic District comes to life during NIOSA with 160+ food, drink, shopping booths, and nine stages of non-stop live music. Explore 5 acres of various cultures and themes, including Chinatown, Clown Alley, Sauerkraut Bend, Mexican Market, Frontier Town, Froggy Bottom, and more! 

Ford Mariachi Festival – June 22 – 24
San Antonio River Walk 849 E Commerce St, San Antonio, TX
If you’re a massive fan of mariachi music, then head over to the San Antonio Riverwalk for an evening of live music, margaritas, and outdoor relaxation. You’ll see boats carrying performers as they play their best mariachi tunes. The event will run from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

10th Street River Festival – June 24 – 26
VFW Post 76 10 10th St, San Antonio, TX
Head over to the historic grounds of the VFW Post 76 as San Antonio celebrates its 10th Street River Festival from June 24 to June 26. From live music to great food and beverages, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy at this event! 

Celebrations of Traditions Pow Wow – June 26
Mission County Park 6030 Padre Drive, San Antonio, TX
If you’re in the mood for celebrating Native American culture this Fiesta, then Mission County Park will be hosting Celebrations of Traditions Pow Wow on June 26 from 11 AM to 4 PM. Here, you and the family can learn about various Native American traditions and raise awareness about the culture that has stood the test of time.

Fiesta® De Los Reyes – June 21 – 27
Market Square 514 W Commerce St, San Antonio, TX
Market Square will host De Los Reyes on Saturday, June 26, from 10 AM to Sunday, June 27 at 1 AM. This event will have live music ranging from Cumbia to Tejano. Plus, many food vendors will serve the masses with foods like turkey legs, funnel cakes, and so much more!

Festival de Animales – June 26 – 27
San Antonio Zoo 3903 S St Mary’s St, San Antonio, TX
The San Antonio Zoo will be hosting Festival de Animales from 10 AM to 5 PM on June 26 and 27. Visitors will learn about the zoo’s conservation efforts and even be treated to up-close animal encounters and Latin-American-inspired entertainment for the whole family.
