This is how to use Solar
Panels in a cost effective manner. There are many practical uses that
you might not have considered. The biggest drawback of solar panels is
the lack of consistent power, so what you need to do is store the electricity
generated at peak times, in batteries. These are the items I purchased
and found to work for my needs. You can add more power to this system as
time goes on and get a bigger percent of usage over the years.
I began this endeavor to keep the batteries on my boat charged while at sea, but quickly realized other uses. Like when I'm out on my boat for the winter, I can turn off my city power and run my battery tenders and security lights. |

| The Unisolar thin film panels are warranted for 20 years. You can't beat that anywhere. They are flexible and you can nail or put screws thru them. They are not under glass and were manufactured as roofing shingles. Very tough!! |
