| Reinstall the two washers. First the conical, remembering it tapers toward you, then the tongued washer. The latter doesn't always fit real well. You can file it, or maybe use a dermal to shape it to fit. I fitted it by lightly tapping it in place with a quality common screwdriver (the tab at bottom). | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Again, I don't recommend using anything but the proper tools made for the job, but I improvised in this case, and have had success with the chisel. I had to do it 4 or 5 times, more than a year ago now when I was trying to figure out exactly which parts went in this clutch basket. I've had no problems as a result, but eventually I'll get a new nut and the proper tool, or something that works without damaging the nut. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Put the springs and lifter plate back in place and tighten the 10mm bolts to snug. The Honda manual has no torque value here, except under general bolt sizes. Just remember you're tightening these bolts into aluminum. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| You know what to do here. Just don't knock the heck out of the impactor, you can strip the threads in the case. | |||||||||||||||||||||
