Undo the 4, 10mm bolts holding the clutch lifter plate.  I do this at half-turns in a crossing pattern, it's aluminum.  Be sure to measure the clutch springs.  The "Honda" book states they can be no shorter than 30.5mm, and all the same.  One of mine turned out to be 30.5 and the other three are 31mm.  It works fine, but I'm sure I'll need to replace it some time this year.
Flatten the ears on the tongued washer that retains the nut on the clutch shaft.  You can do this with a common screwdriver.  It's a good idea to get a new one.
You'll see I'm using a half inch cold chisel and hammer to remove the big nut holding the clutch assembly.  I don't recommend to anyone that this is proper.  There is a Honda tool made for this specific nut, and other ways of making tools for it.
Now remove the tongued and the conical washer underneath.

Notice the orientation of the conical shape.
