Tools Required 10&12mm socket/sm. extension, 2) 12mm combo wrench (or 1 w/medium crescent), pliers (needle-nose), hand impactor and phillips driver. |

Remove kick starter with 12mm socket. |

| Pull back boot and undo lock nut at clutch cable end (this requires 2 wrenches), then turn slack adjuster all the way in. Next, remove cable head at lever. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Remove outer clutch cover with phillips head screwdriver and pull clutch cable end out of holder. This is why you need the slack in the cable at both ends. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
