Synchronizing the carburetors on the CB750 with the earlier Kei Hin setup.

Parts Index        See Valve Adjustment - Valve Clearance

Look!  Performing this procedure without a proper valve clearance is a complete waste of time.  Adjust the valves a couple days ahead, ride, then check them again before synchronizing.  Get it?

You can see (left) I use a ladder and a piece of plywood, and three feet of fuel line to set up my gas tank for fueling the carbs.  The books suggest buying a special little tank, but I'm cheap, and you can also get a connector (right) to join the extra fuel line to the carb's fuel line.

You'll need to remove the screws in the vacuum ports of each carb.  A long skinny MAGNETIC screwdriver is a real plus when undoing the screws on the inner carbs, but it CAN be done without one.  Hold your hand underneath incase you drop the screw.

Put these screws somewhere safe and clean....DON'T lose the gaskets!!

First screw the brass fittings into the vacuum ports, then attach the hoses so they're in the same order as the gauges.

You can see the 10mm socket (for the lock-nut) and 17mm combo wrench (for the slider rod adjuster) I'm using for the adjusting.
