Sometimes it takes a good bit
of force to get the carbs apart. Be careful of the floats. If you
want, you can pull the floats off first. That's on the next page by
clicking on the following thumb on the Carb Index page.
First, pull the main fuel line off of the two "Ts" between the 1-2, and the 3-4 carbs. Originally, and you may find them on your bike, they were held in place by small ring clamps with a circle shape on the ends. They are a pain in the ass unless you've got a tool made to deal with that type of clamp. I managed slipping them downward a couple inches with a quality pair of needle-nose pliers. You'll probably need to twist a little to get the two hoses off. Next do the same with the vent hoses between the 2-3 carbs (circled in red below).
Below (circled in green), are the inter-connecting tubes. You'll notice in the green circle on the right, the brass didn't come out with the hose, don't worry about it. You can leave it in place. The light-blue arrows show where the "Ts" were located.

On the right, the arrow is pointing toward one of the "O" rings. Honda does not sell the "O" rings, but will sell the whole "T" ("O" ring included) for $34 a piece (yikes).

I went to a local auto parts store and found these. Being green, I was told they're made for air-conditioning parts. I've had some tell me that "O-rings" not specifically made for gasoline will swell, and others told me they'll work fine...I've had them in about three weeks and no leakage. I'll update this info down the line.
