The blue line (above) indicates where clamps are located.  They must be removed first.  Be careful to make sure the Phillips-head size is snug - it's easy to strip the old screws in all these clamps.  Undo the 10mm bolts (circled left), one on each side.  To remove the air-box, pull backward, away from the carbs first (you may need to pull the inlet rubber tubes off the carbs by hand), then slightly downward on the way out.  Notice (circled above right) the far tab located on top the air-box that the other side 10mm bolt was in.  Be careful not to snag the oil breather tube that runs between the top of the head and oil tank, or electrical wiring as you WIGGLE the box out.  Also, to the right of that mounting tab (in the photo) is a tube connector that will press against the frame on the way out.  It's kind of a pain, but you'll have to move the air-box slightly forward to get past that connector.  (Below) If you run into problems getting past any of the rubbers, just rotate them while moving the air-box outward.
