The following procedure will be done one carb at a time and will include checking and adjusting the float-bowl height.

Assemble the externals.  Bottom right, insert the air screw** all the way in and back out one turn.

Top left, tighten the screw blocking the bleeder hole (this hole is used for vacuum measurements.

        **This is normally referred to as the air-fuel mixture screw, but in this model carb and many others, it only adjusts the amount of air flowing from the brass bleeder in the venturi to the main jet atomizer.

Carb Kits

Left - Drop in the bowl valve pin into its seat and put the bowl back in position sliding in the pin (right) remembering as organized, the pin will more easily be slid in from the same direction it came out.

Notice (below) the carb is upside down in the photo and the larger part of the float is pointing toward the main body of the carb.
