"My toy, has RC1000 pistons and everything else hi-pro available for the old beast, except the big head was about wiped out by the cam chain failure last year."

The '78 models were more suited for drag racing because of beefed up output shaft and stronger clutch baskets.  High performance upgrades included RC1000 kit, Erson race cam, Web springs & retainers.  After breaking the big head last season, a stock head with 3 angle valve job is now installed.  The bottom consists of steel race rods, Falacon lightened and balance crank, heavy Subaka cam chain, Barnette clutch, extra heavy springs and a pro cut transmission.  The electrical mods include; DynaS, Dyna coils, Dyna 2 step rev-limiter, MSD shift light, alternator rotor eliminated.         Also, MRE air-shifter, MRE chromemoly 4" over swingarm, Akront aluminum spoke rear wheel, 5.5" slick, Mac header.
