I bought this bike in March of 2004.  It had been garaged for 15 years before I bought it.  The owner had the carbs rebuilt, synced, new chain and battery installed.  The tires were in, "like new" condition.  It just needed some TLC and the 4 into 2 exhaust replaced with original 4 into 4.

     I worked for a week polishing the engine, chrome, etc, replaced the incorrect headlight, king/queen seat, and handgrips. I now have the bike back to original except for the side covers which are aftermarket.  I've got the original's, but am in the process of having them painted with correct decals. 

     The bike has 14000 miles on it and runs great and strong.  I've thought about doing a separate tank and covers in a different color as 77 and 78 colors really sucked.

I got this bike a year ago and done a lot to it, just finished the painting, color victory red and rebuilt the fornt caliper, new exhaust along with man other items, I wanted a bright color so this is what I came up with, added the stock decals and here it is, Runs like a champ. I did lots of polishing on the aluminum to a chrome finish.
