My current ride is a 1976 CB750K.  I found it 5 years ago, after 8 years without a ride.  It had two previous owners (not riders), and it only had 7,852 miles on it BUT was a cosmetic disaster, rusted and crusted.  Since then I've put 30K miles on it and have had only 3 breakdowns.  1. A 27 yr old fuse blew out.  2. A 27 year old ignition switch burned out.  3. The clutch cable snapped (it was 27yrs old too).  Since then, I always carry a clutch cable (a habit I picked up years ago when I rode Harleys). This is my 4th Honda 4 and I'm lookin' to buy my fifth one as a chopper project.  

Check out the attached pics-as you can see all the crust and rust is gone.
