    This '75 CB550 was bought from the original owner in 1981, by my friend's older brother.  He rode it until 1990.  It then sat under a cover in his garage until 2001.  I gave him $500 for it.  The bike had 12,000 miles when I bought it.  Since then, I have rebuilt the front caliper, all 4 carbs with kits, replaced the main fuse panel (created with Radioshack parts), replaced the levers and clutch cable, lubed all cables and both tires.

    I've recently installed a Dyna-S electronic ignition.  When I bought it, it was screaming at 65-70, but now she's singing at 85-90.  The future will bring two new Accel coils as well as a paint job.  I'm thinking silver.

I am learning a lot about these wonderful bikes, but still haven't got the hang of synching the carbs yet.  I am sure, with practice it will come.
