Bill's '71 CB750K1

     The bike was purchased new by a family member in early 1971.  In '81, he got a new Gold Wing, and rode the CB up on the front porch with a half tank of gas, and parked it.  He lived in the Arizona desert with 110+ temps.

     I started working on the bike in 2001.  Twenty years in the desert weren't very kind to this bike.

     All of the rubber parts were shot including the tires, that still had the little nobbies on them.  I stripped her down and sanded all the surface rust off.  I did a cheap paint job on her, just to get rid of the peeling and cracked brown paint.  The carbs were stuck solid from twenty years of varnish.  Everything else is ready for the road except the carbs are still giving me problems.
