May be necessary to rotate the channel 180 degrees for flush installation of the header.
This is not all the details, and I've figured out how to get the channel into the correct place, but not every detail. Plywood will surround as original plan with bolt-thrus, but vertical "rigidity" is vastly intensified by adding the 4" channel. Each channel will be placed atop a semi-small cement piling....of course, I'm looking for the most cost effective way to accomplish this.
