Intro Cost Effective Captain's Log No Religion Too

Cost effective in Ascending order.

One of the things I've realized over the last few years, is the value or cost of getting around....specifically;  you'd think that owning more vehicles is expensive, right?  Not true, it's less expensive!  You save a bundle on maintenance and repair, by spreading out the mileage on each vehicle you almost never need to repair any of them.  Then again, it really depends on which ones you buy.  I'm blessed or lucky depending on you're personal frame of reference, but the best way to find the right vehicle...is by accident.

Like many, I've been looking for a gas saver....looked for a couple years.  Most of what I found with even, 40k to 70k miles was running $9000 or more.  I'm not going to spend that kind of money for a car with that many miles on it!

1990 Acura Ingetra

1971 Irwin 32

The words "Cost Effective" and "Boat" are an oxymoron.  Shortly after I purchased the boat, my sis' asked me, "d'you know what boat stands for?"  I didn't so she told me. B.O.A.T. "Bring Out Another 'Thou".  Not too much later, I had to tell her she was wrong about that.  It actually meant, Bring Out Another 5 Thou".

So how possibly could I consider this Cost Effective?
