1977 GL1000 Goldwing - 1976 CB750F Supersport

I'm selling the two Hondas as a pair. They are both currently registered and running. Of course they both have bugs here and there, but I wouldn't hesitate to get on either and ride 500 miles or more. They've both been re-wired with Accell Super Coils. The Goldwing no longer has the start on 12, run on 6 vollt system, but starts fine on about 9 volts as drained by the starter. I do have the diodes and other electrical parts I removed, many extra parts for the Goldwing only. The tires on the Goldwing are becoming warn and I have a new replacement for its rear. A Dunlop Elite 2. These two bikes take some of the same parts and I have 4 to 6 oil filters and a new "O-ring" chain ready for the CB. I recently rebuilt the carbs on the Goldwing, but haven't fine tuned them. It runs well and can get 40+ mpg when ridden conservatively. The same is true for the Supersport. The Supersport seems faster than stock and the previous owner thought it might have an 836cc big-bore and billet cam, but I haven't taken it apart to verify that. I did de-tune it by dropping the needle-jet a notch. The rear wheel would break traction at around 5500 rpms in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears. The Supersport does weep a little oil from between the head and cylinder, but it doesn't effect the cooling and rarely needs extra oil. Its transmission is a little sticky between 1st and 2nd, but doesn't ever come out of gear. I've always change the oil and filter at 2500 miles on both bikes.
I have soft saddlebags that'll go on either bike, but a set of hard bags that will go on the Golding, plus a new oil pump for someday, and spares consisting of the front case because the threads for the oil filter are a bit stiff and I considered replacing that sometime if it ever became a problem, which it hasn't so far. Both motorcycles are in the proximity of 70k miles, which is not excessive for these two.
These motorcycles are for local pick-up only! Come and get them.
